General Contracting

When Gunderson provides general contracting services, our construction professionals coordinate the various trade subcontractors to assure that the project meets the stated goals of quality, time and cost.

At Gunderson we believe the proper mix of experienced project professionals, from project managers and hands-on superintendents to project engineers and quality control and safety experts, can best assure our clients of a successful project outcome.

We believe that there are benefits to the project when the General Contractor does a portion of the work with its own forces. For those areas of work that we self-perform, we will obtain multiple bids on all material purchases from specialty contractors as well as major pieces of equipment that will be required. Additionally, all labor rates will be outlined in the proposal, meaning the majority of risk to the client would be bid out and, the client has the work performed at a cost rate far less than traditional subcontracting.
